Extras
In every one of Greg's performances, there's something extra that makes it special. His web site is no different.
Recommendations
This is one of the most useful and one of Greg's favorite pages on andersonpiano.com. So many people are enthusiastic about listening to classical piano music, but they don't know where to begin. Not only is there a huge mass of repertoire to select from, but every piece has been recorded by dozens of pianists. This list is the music by which Greg fell in love with classical piano music, and he's confident these pieces will affect you similarly. He's listened to dozens of pianists perform every piece on the list and selected his favorite recordings for your convenience.
Old-time sea-fight
"Would you hear of an old-time sea-fight" is an excerpt from Greg's book-in-progress, currently titled, "The Art and Evolution of Piano Recital Programming." It's a dramatic account of a battle between a Strauss Waltz transcription and a concert pianist.
Cat's Fugue
The first chapter of Greg's book in its present, working stage. It's a comical synopsis of the evolution of the piano recital told from the perspective of an innocent, 300-year-old fugue.
...Ondine
"...Ondine" is an advanced set of considerations for one of the tracks on Greg's CD, "On Wings of Song." The considerations are racy and sexually explicit, so they should taken up only by the adventurous. Consider yourself warned!
Juilliard Experience
The program notes from "Life Between the Keys," a concert experience created by Juilliard's undergraduate piano class of 2004.
Flyers
A gallery of artsy concert flyers for some of Greg's past concerts.
Harry Potter
You've been begging for it! Here it is: Greg's journals, a video, photos, news items, and more - all relating to his exploits with "Harry Potter" and MTV.
